Healing Soul: Letters to the Churches in Asia Free Stream

The seven letters contained in the book of Revelation are largely meant as a progress report and a snap-shot on the state of worship of these seven churches in the Roman province of Asia (located in modern day Turkey). At the same time, though the times have changed, the nature of man's sinful heart has stayed exactly the same. Though the sins are packaged a little differently today, the modern church is still struggling with the same kinds of difficulties and concerns as were the churches in John's day. Oh, how easily we fall into the same snares over and over again within the church and how much we can learn from the successes and the failures of those who have walked in faith before us. It is my hope, as you reflect on these letters, that you will apply these lessons to your own life and to your own church and that the glory of Christ will shine brightly upon your lampstand.
