Volume 7 of the series (volume 1 of the set) lists performances and readings of full plays, significant abridgements and excerpts from plays that have been recorded. Series volume 7A (volume 2 of the set) is a companion volume to volume 7 with an emphasis on recorded poetry. Series volume 7B (volume 3 of the set) adds approximately 10,000 entries to the coverage of volumes 7 and 7A. In addition, short stories, novels, speeches, commentaries, conversations, essays and readings have been indexed in these volumes.
